November 13, 2012
The Tallapoosa County Commission held its regularly scheduled meeting November 13, 2012 at the courthouse in Dadeville, Alabama at 9:00 a.m.
Chairman Tapley called the meeting to order.
Blake Beck gave the invocation.
Chairman Tapley led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Tapley called roll. Commissioners Coley, Tapley, Thweatt and Holt were present. Commission district 2 seat was vacant.

Consent Agenda
Commissioner Thweatt made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 9, 2012 meeting. Commissioner Holt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Coley made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 1, 2012 special called meeting. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Holt made a motion to approve the warrants and purchase orders. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Coley made a motion to approve the calendar year 2013 meeting schedule. Commissioner Holt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Holt made a motion to approve the calendar year 2013 holiday schedule. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Thweatt made a motion to approve for the Sheriff’s department to seek bids for a used transport vehicle. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Thweatt made a motion to approve an agreement with ALDOT for an ATRIP project on County Road 89 North retroactive to October 15, 2012. Commissioner Tapley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Holt made a motion to approve a bid for pine thinning at the William T Thweatt industrial park. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. After some discussion, Commissioner Coley made a motion to table the item until the next meeting. Commissioner Holt seconded the motion. The motion to table passed unanimously. See attachment.

County Administrator Blake Beck addressed the Commission concerning additional Holidays approved by the Governor for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Commissioner Coley made a motion to adopt the holiday schedule approved by the Governor. Commissioner Holt seconded it. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.

Commissioner Coley made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Holt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
