Investigations
The Criminal Investigations unit is responsible for conducting all criminal investigations within Tallapoosa county as well as applicant background checks, and Felony Registrations, Evidence and Property control along with other various duties. This Division is also responsible for the registration and monitoring of all registered sex offenders as well as ensuring that the Project Life Saver program is monitored to ensure the safety of all the clients. This division consists of Three (3) full time investigators and a Supervisor.
