Communications

Communications consists of eight (8) full-time communications officers, and one (1) part time including (1) supervisor providing 24-hour service equipped with Enhanced 9-1-1 (E911) capable of receiving calls from all residence within the county. The communication officers' dispatches for four (4) Law Enforcement agencies in the county, thirteen (13) volunteer fire departments, first responders, four (4) ambulance services and two (2) rescue squads. The communication officers handle all incoming telephone calls, data entry, warrants, and other related duties.
