February 3, 2012

 

The Tallapoosa County Commission held a special called meeting February 3, 2012 at the courthouse in Dadeville, Alabama at 9:00 a.m.

 

Chairman Shaw called the meeting to order.

 

Blake Beck gave the invocation.

 

Chairman Shaw led the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Chairman Shaw called roll. Commissioners Coley, Shaw, Tapley, and Holt were present. Commissioner Thweatt was absent.

Executive Session

 

Commissioner Coley made a motion to enter executive session to discuss economic development. Commissioner Holt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

 

Commissioner Coley made a motion to exit executive session and reconvene the regular session. Commissioner Shaw seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Tapley requested that redistricting be added as a discussion item for the next regularly scheduled meeting.
